Our Story
We opened with a simple, slightly stubborn idea: that a pure vegetarian restaurant in West Delhi should not have to feel like a compromise. Not in the room, not on the plate, not in what it costs.
So the kitchen runs the same way a good non-vegetarian kitchen does — stock made daily, gravies built from scratch each morning, nothing reheated from a holding tray. And the room was built to look like somewhere you would take your parents on an anniversary.
The same head chef has run this pass for nine years. Every gravy is tasted before service, and plenty have been sent back.
How We Serve
Every one of them runs out of the same kitchen, to the same standard — whether you are at table nine or hosting eight hundred people on a lawn.

Three events, three different problems, and what we actually did about them.
A farmhouse reception at full scale, six live counters, and a dinner service planned to finish inside ninety minutes rather than run to midnight.
A full-day offsite where a large minority of the room eats Jain or no-onion-no-garlic, planned so that group is not handed apology food while everyone else eats properly.
A neighbourhood mela where residents drift through across several hours rather than sitting down together — a service pattern that defeats most catering plans.

Took my parents here for their anniversary and the mezzanine alcove made it feel like a proper occasion. The paneer butter masala is the closest I have had in Delhi to my grandmother’s. Staff noticed it was an anniversary and sent out a rasmalai without being asked.
Ordered: Paneer Butter Masala
I order the chilli paneer and chilli potato at least twice a month. It arrives hot, which sounds like a low bar until you order from anywhere else around Dwarka Mor. 38 minutes door to door on a Saturday night.

The royal thali at ₹349 is genuinely unbeatable value. Two of us shared one and still could not finish. Also the only place nearby where I did not have to explain three times that Jain food means no onion.
Ordered: Morsaab's Royal Special Thali
Dosa is crisp and the sambhar has actual body to it. Marked one star off only because the wait on Sunday lunch was 25 minutes even with a booking. Food was worth it though.
Ordered: Masala Dosa
They catered my brother’s wedding reception for 220 people. Live dosa counter was the hit of the evening and the team cleared everything without us having to chase anyone. Invoiced exactly what was quoted.
Ordered: Catering — 220 guests
Came for the food, stayed for the chilli guava cooler. I have tried to reverse-engineer it at home four times and failed. Whoever put green chilli in a guava drink deserves a raise.

One tap. We read all of it.
Then & Now
Three upgrades we made to the room and the plate. Drag the handle — or use the arrow keys — to see the difference.

The first floor was rebuilt around six arched alcoves. Fewer covers up here than before, and the intention was the opposite of turning tables quickly — somewhere a group can sit through a long dinner without being crowded.

Same price, same portions, rebuilt plate. Moving from a steel compartment tray to a brass thali with separate katoris changes nothing about the cooking — it is about how the food arrives at the table.

The old frontage was a flat backlit board. The new one is a carved jharokha arch with warm uplighting, so the entrance reads as a restaurant rather than a shopfront after dark.
Our promise
Every dish leaves our kitchen pure vegetarian, cooked to order in separate pans, and seasoned by a chef who tastes it first. If a dish does not meet the standard we promise, tell us within 30 minutes of delivery or before you leave the table and we will remake it or take it off your bill — no argument, no paperwork.

Every gravy is tasted at the pass before service opens.
Cash-on-delivery orders can also be settled by UPI or card at the door — our riders carry a machine.
The Journal
Our chefs write about how the food is actually made — the techniques, the arguments, and the ingredients that decide everything.
Awadh’s most famous technique was invented to feed famine relief workers, not kings. Here is how sealing a pot with dough changes what happens inside it — and why we still do it.

The same six ingredients produce wildly different dishes. The variable is not the recipe — it is the tomato, the cashew and how long somebody was willing to stand over the pan.

Chilli paneer is not a corruption of Chinese food. It is a 150-year-old cuisine with its own logic, its own techniques, and a Hakka community in Tangra to thank for it.
